Mum-in-Charge suggests...
Why not make up a selection of mocktails or non-alcoholic drinks for mum to be and her baby shower guests? Here’s a great recipe for a really fruity berry drink, which is sure is sure to add a bit of fizz (and some vitamins...) to the evening!
So how do you make a Fizz Berry? Well you need the following fresh ingredients, just increase the amount to amke as many fresh cocktails as you need.
- 100g blueberries
- 100g blackberries
- 50g raspberries
- 10 ml lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon caster sugar
- Soda water
Gently blend together the blueberries, raspberries and blackberries, add a little lemon juice and sugar to the mixture. Using a sieve strain the mixture into one of your baby shower cups and add some ice. Top the mixture up with some soda water and you can add a sprig of mint to finish the cocktail off.
Not only does it look amazing but it tastes good too and is really healthy for the baby shower host and her guests!
