How cute are these candles? Spelling out the word Baby Shower with ten individual pick candles these will make a fabulous addition to any special cake that you have planned for the expectant mum!
The candles are glittery and make a lovely effect when all lit together. They burn for approximately two minutes, so it is plenty of time for all the guest to admire them. The candle wicks are lead-free and the candle letters are approx. 1.5cm tall.

Well if you have candles - you have to have a cake! And what better than a scrumptious chocolate fudge cake for mum-to-be - especially as she'll be eating for two.
This yummy cake serves 10 and takes approximately 1 hour 20 minutes to create and then cooling time.

Ingredients
100g spreadable butter, plus extra for greasing
250ml milk
100g plain chocolate, melted
15g cocoa powder, sifted
300g self-raising flour, sifted
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda, sifted
225g golden caster sugar
2 eggs

For the icing
225g plain chocolate in chunks
100g butter
142ml double cream

How to make the chocolate fudge cake:
1. Preheat your oven to 180C/ gas mark 4. Grease a 20cm cake tin (round) and line with baking paper. Mix the milk. Place the rest of ingredients in a mixing bowl. Pour in the milk and beat until the mixture is lovely and smooth. Spread it into the tin and bake for 1 hour, until firm in the centre. Cool for 10 minutes, then turn out on a rack to cool completely.
2. To make the icing: melt the chocolate and butter together in a pan or in the microwave. Stir until smooth, then beat in the cream. Leave to cool.
3. Cut the cake through the middle. Spread a quarter of the icing on 1 half and sandwich together. Spread the rest over the top and sides.
